As a reflection of a specific regional office location for a general contracting firm, this design incorporates distinct traditional work processes combined with progressive planning strategies, local aesthetic abstractions and smart sustainable design strategies. The result is a comfortable and effective work environment as well as a showcase for a unique corporate culture.
This 7,300 SF space occupies the site of a former steakhouse restaurant on the third floor of a three-story commercial building in Old Town Pasadena. Optimizing what once was an outdoor dining terrace, an adjacent roof area was restructured offering over 3,000 SF of expanded opportunities for exterior social and collaborative spaces. The environment embraces the abstract aesthetic of a Pasadena loft while integrating state of the art work environments and technologies.
Specific corporate cultural references include a full kitchen and wine bar, a “living room”, focus rooms and an outdoor bar and BBQ.
