Situated on a flagpole lot in the center of Pasadena's historic Oak Knoll neighborhood, the Inishnee House is a contemporary modern family residence designed for a chef and her husband, a businessman and art collector, and their two children. The family home, drawing from the values of simplicity and flexibility, encourages connectivity and movement between the interior and exterior spaces while reinforcing the concept of frame and reveal. The architecture and landscape work in tandem to create interstitial spaces that are symbiotic, respond to the climate, and transform as the day goes by.
