The Neighborhood Legal Services project is the interior renovation of a 1920s open market building into a not-for-profit low-income legal services firm in Glendale, California. The project makes use of the unique open-bay areas that where once a part of the open market to put the functions of the law firm on display, as an alternative way to define corporate/commercial identity, not from logos and advertising, but rather from a spatial identity that is directly related to the neighborhood and constituency it serves.
