This 1.5 acre site with city and coastline views created the base for this project. 270 degree city light and ocean views on one side and the other side privacy issues from the street.
the project was created to have all the spaces open to the views and the views were cropped by a 160 feet curved infinity pool that created a feel of connection between the pool water and the ocean beyond. on the street side the massive stone façade created the privacy requirement as well as allowing light through in areas of seclusion.
the entry opens up to at 28 foot ceiling height flanked by a floating stone stair case and a bridge leading the master suite to the additional bedrooms upstairs.
floating walls capture views of water elements and frame interior fire elements.
an open plans allows the space to be full of light as well as access to the one of a kind views.
roof gardens surround the upper level deck capturing a green garden with is the foreground for yet another city and ocean view |
