The site was a steep hillside located in Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.
Strict Hillside guidelines limit the square footage and stringent Height guidelines.
the program was to design a home that will allow all rooms to take advantage of the city lights and Downtown high rise views. we created a 3 level home with a large open feel and views. the exterior street facing façade allowed play in order to bring interest to the project by forms and shapes that inched close to the maximum height guideline and create open volumes on the interiors.
the final level opens to a deck that is capped by an infinity pool again emphasizing the views of this site.
