creating a structure that brought interest at street level with shapes and forms that captured attention at the same time dealing with steep hillside and strict hillside rules of LA was the starting point. we created open floor plan W/ expansive views of the LA skyline in this 3 story building. the lowest level opens to a vast deck and a pool that spans the entire width of the lot.
you will have a view of the city lights from every room, allowing light and air to flow through the entire house. stepping down the hillside, the house was covered by a roof canopy depicting some of the terrain facing this site.
