This new corporate headquarters houses 300 personnel in a visually open, connected work environment designed to reduce hierarchy and increase visibility, communication, collaboration and mentoring opportunities. The headquarters also includes a 9,000 SF multimedia Training Center which trains employees from around the world.
The design is a new and modern departure for the client, setting both the principles and aesthetics for their global offices moving forward. The overall effect is achieved through the creative and considered use of a simple color palette and modest rather than lavish materials. The understated but refined space sends a clear message of the client’s professionalism and focus on the future.
A ring of structural columns in the lease space became an organizing element and was transformed into a design feature. A wide variety of collaborative spaces support different types of work done throughout the day and provide opportunities for employee interaction. |
