The Garden District, This Conceptual idea of a romantic walk through this frog town neighborhood was inspired by a variety of explorations.As a
form of Spatial Blossoming this Concept inhabitants the neighborhood and this is seen through the new man-made topography. The Change in levels was a concept that influence the placement of the Dwellings.The new architecture also responds to the Los Angeles River. after our site visit it was clear that the river was isolated aside from being contained by a slab of concrete there are fences that isolate the neighborhood from it. We changed this creating Ramps and a Grand Stair Case to welcome any passbyers to Visit this new community. The New Repurposing of the existing commercial building will allow for new Retail opportunity that will bring and entertain people when they visit the site. The Garden District is a place that will take people into a romantic scene that will show how nature and architecture can quickly become one in the same. |
