The historic Lakeside Golf Club of Hollywood, adjacent to Universal, Warner Brothers and Disney Studios, had been significantly and adversely altered over the years, to the point that the public face of the club was antithetical to it’s prominence and glamorous history. In place of razing the clubhouse and rebuilding, the membership sought to make architectural interventions that would re-establish an image of the club commensurate with its status. This project sought to create a formal entry sequence from the street, beautify the parking lot and rebuild the Porte-cochere.
