The 3 story wood framed structure addresses the southeast corner of Mills and Kingsley with a prominent corner tower of masonry veneer, used to signify gateways elsewhere in the community. Horizontal planes of the cantilevered balconies and trellises are anchored by the vertical masses of the unit storage closets. Alternate colors of plaster and siding highlight the modulations, while aluminum reveals add definition to the edges and openings. The building elevations emphasize corridor openings, naturally ventilated by prevailing cross breezes. |
