Moreno Valley Student Academic Services Building
(# 43)
Images Description Credits
Located on the edge of campus on a higher level elevation of the adjacent mountain, the new Academic Services Building serves as a “Gateway to the College”. Physically, it is the first building that will be visible as you approach the campus, but more importantly the new facility enables the consolidation of all student academic services in a single structure.

The design for this building incorporated flexibility wherever possible. A café and 200-seat multi-purpose space are designed for dining, lectures, and intimate performances. A lecture room is designed with operable exterior walls enabling it to function as an indoor/outdoor venue. The interior space provides a stage and optional seating can extend into the campus quad for larger events.

The exterior of the building is designed as a layered façade.  A large curved glass curtain wall connects visually to the campus quad and the community. The large glass exterior, when lit at night, will act as a beacon for the College.
