Redlands Seventh-day Adventist Church Renovation
(# 54)
Images Description Credits
The 60 year old church in the historic downtown of Redlands had originally been designed in the Mission Revival style.  Over the years additions and remodels had compromised the original design.

The client’s objectives were:
1.    Maximize seating capacity through building addition
2.    Relocate offices
3.    Provide a less traditional seating arrangement (i.e. circular)
4.    Meet current codes
5.    Sustainable, energy efficient design
6.    Mission Revival style

Sustainable features include:
•    R 19 batt insulation plus 2 inch Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS)
•    R30 roof insulation
•    High efficiency HVAC
•    Dual-glazed, low E, aluminum clad wood windows
•    Low flow plumbing fixtures
•    Cool Roof S-Clay Tile, locally manufactured
•    Water-efficient landscaping
•    Construction waste management
•    Durable materials
•    Low VOC paints
•    Pre-occupancy flush out
•    Complete upgrade of all utilities
