I need to incorporate the design to the architect’s perspective. After I chose the architect that would be my main subject for the entire semester, I look over to his work and future construction to see if I have a chance to meet the owner and know everything about the conceptualizing stage of the project. When I looked over to his portfolio, it takes me to a fantasy world when I saw Lencioni’s Residence. Because of an oval, woody brown, and futuristic design of it, I took a chance to contact Mrs. Deborah Lapp the owner of the residence.  I also contacted Architect Arthur Dyson to make an appointment for personal interview about his structures.  I was amazed that they both agreed to meet with me and I not only got a chance to meet them in person, but also experience the home Arthur Dyson designed.

This 1800 sq. ft. with 2-story private residential house of Mrs. Lencioni Lapp challenged me to study and look forward for the interior and exterior capabilities of the entire design. According to Mrs. Lapp, her suggested design to Architect Dyson was phenomenal. She wants a unique, outgoing, and creative shape of their house that not really expose to their neighbor. The house was build March 1985 with narrow, curve, and extensive design. On the first floor, there is kitchen, dining, breakfast bar, laundry, work area, spacious garage, living and dining room with high ceiling. On the other hand, second floor has overview to first floor because it opened interior and luxurious master bedroom and 1 studio type room.

Due to the personal experience of conversing with the architect and owner of the Lencioni Residence, this project was a totally successful experience for me.  Architect Arthur Dyson, the designer of Lencioni Residence, help to give details and his experience during the conceptualizing and constructing this amazing house. Also Deborah Lapp, the owner of Lencioni Residence, shared her memorable experience working with Architect Dyson and how the shape of the house well designed and constructed. This project research needs a suggested furniture that to be draw and rendered to make a new proposal to the owner. Choosing organic and green furniture materials are totally fit for the house's concept. The Lencioni's Residence are eco-friendly house, and they want a unique and energy saving spacious house.

This project research made me more aware, creative, efficient and knowledgeable in the field of constructing building using green architecture. From contacting the architect to owner, from asking professional interview and to make it as strong objective for my research, from conceptualizing to rendered symbol for the architect’s passion and perspective, from proposing interior furniture to final design research was really great professional experience.

All of the images included in the article were personally rendered by me using a variety of media from pencil, to pen and ink and various markers.  These images were scanned and adjusted in size to create a final composition.
