| The Chaparral Elementary School Modernization project takes an existing single-story classroom, administration, and multipurpose building, reimagined into a high performance Next-Generation atmosphere for learning. The renovation will allow for flexibility to facilitate an environment where “learning occurs everywhere” with classrooms equipped with operable glass doors, tied into a centralized and flexible instructional space with a multitude of learning options for staff and students. Adjacent to this academic suite is a flexible maker space for project-based learning. Surrounding classrooms will also maintain direct access to exterior patios to inspire outdoor memory-making space and versatile learning. The relocation of the existing administration area is also included to create a single point of entry for students, staff, visitors, and community members. |
