| The Oxnard Union High School District was looking to create a new campus that reflects its diverse community—which includes blue collar, white collar, and agricultural communities. This new high school will need to prepare students for the 21st century workforce, whether immediately, or post-higher education, trade-specific learning. The site is surrounded by luxuriant agriculture and rooted in next-generation learning potential. Del Sol High School is currently in design and will feature movable walls and collaborative learning space. These new environments will accommodate traditional learning while also facilitating hands-on experiences to prepare students for the next step in their academic careers. |
