Based on principles of the scientific method, the central design concept focuses on creating spaces that encourage exploration through observation and experimentation.
Modern STEM pedagogy seeks to break down barriers and embrace cross-disciplinary engagement. This led to the building’s centralized layout with a hub of activity at its core, anchored by the STEM Resource Center and Science Court. These spaces foster connections with the local business community providing a living laboratory where industry leaders connect with students through workforce transition programs.
