Entries will only be accepted if they meet at least one of the following conditions:

• The submitted project site is located in Orange County, CA
• The submitting architectural firm is located, or has an office, in Orange County, CA

All entries must be submitted by a licensed architect or a firm with a licensed architect in charge of the project.

For an entry with multiple authors, the submitting architect must credit all other participants who substantially contributed to the design of the project for the entry to be considered.

Previously submitted entries that have not received an AIAOC award during previous years are eligible for submittal.

No built projects whose construction was completed prior to 2004 will be considered.

Submitted projects can be "on the boards", under construction or completed / built. The only exceptions to this are the C.O.T.E. and "Savings by Design" awards which will only be given to a completed / built project.

The AIAOC invites any Architect, design professional or design student in Orange County to submit.  Please remember, the INSPIRE category is focused on innovative solutions for tomorrow.  Any projects under construction or on the boards should be submitted to the appropriate Residential or Commercial category and will not be considered for the INSPIRE award.
