Mt. San Jacinto College Temecula Valley Campus
(# 225)
Images Description Credits
The overarching goal was to dynamically transform an existing, five-story office building into an innovative, vertical college campus. Rather than constructing a new campus, this project retrofitted a non-DSA office building into an academic environment. The challenge was to provide adequate facilities and resources for about 27,000 students, as well as bring the entire building up to DSA Structural, Fire Life Safety, and Accessibility standards. Careful planning of this dynamic educational hub provided high-quality, accessible, equitable, and innovative educational spaces for the students to achieve their academic, career, and personal development goals.

The completed facility includes a library/learning resource center, STEM center, welcome center, veterans resource center, health center, dining, bookstore, career center, conference rooms, faculty offices, board room, classrooms, computer labs, science labs, collaboration spaces, study group rooms, and support services.
