Occupying a prominent corner lot, Rancho Uno is conceived as a layered desert retreat—protective and composed along the public edge, open and welcoming on the private side. Set back and shielded from the street, the entry is discreetly veiled by desert planting and strategically placed CMU walls that partially obscure the arrival sequence. This creates a textured, grounded public presence while allowing the home to reveal itself gradually through a protected approach, reinforcing both refuge and anticipation. |
